Book is bound in black cape morrocco, with multi-colored leather tooled onlays of grey, brown and magenta cape morrocco, orange native-dyed Niger, yellow Harmatan, fushia chagrin and teal buffalo.  

Design represents a map of Dublin divided by the River Liffey and the connecting waterways. Doublures of decorated paper by Claude Del Pierre, surrounded by narrow strips of yellow Oasis.  

Fly leaf is of teal suede.  The title and author are tooled on the spine outlining mosaic letters of magenta cape morocco, title is also gilded.  A tooled compass rose is also on spine.  Front and back covers have extra, hinged foredge boards, curved inversely and created to meet at center magnetically.  The foredge boards also provide extra support for the overall structure.  Drop Back Box.
